Locally owned and operated in British Columbia, Whistler Water is consistently recognized as among the purest bottled water brands in the world and has quickly become the preferred choice for drinkers around the globe.
Here at Whistler Water we don’t believe in being couch potatoes. We love to get out into the community, meet people and get involved in fun events. This past month our team had a great time not only as the official water of the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival but also as the hydration of choice for the BMO Vancouver St. Patrick’s Day Run.
Our uniquely crafted sculptures at the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival attracted a lot of attention. Squamish artist Stanley Matwychuk created these masterpieces using Whistler Water bottles proving that recycling can take many forms and really does Let The Bottle Live On. We love viral videos here at Whistler Water and when this one came in the other week it quickly spread around our office. There has been a lot of talk recently about college and university campuses banning bottled water. Activism and debate is healthy and so is a balanced review. Have a watch of this video and decide for yourself and if you love it why not give it a thumbs up rating on YouTube.
It’s finally spring and our Whistler Water team is thrilled to shake off the winter cobwebs and head out into the sunshine sampling around the Lower Mainland. Make sure you head down to Overwaitea at Park & Tilford this weekend as our team will be out on both Saturday and Sunday.

Our offices here at Whistler Water were abuzz the other week when an article published in the Nature Research Journal contained a report that claims sugar should be controlled in the same way that alcohol is for consumers. We debated this one for quite some time and thought it would be an interesting article to share with a wider audience. The report points to sugar as one of the major culprits behind heart disease, cancer and diabetes but its popularity especially in beverages is on the rise. Why not have a quick read of this article from Postmedia and form your own opinion?
Whistler Water loves to ensure everyone keeps hydrated but thanks to a contest we held at Whole Foods on Cambie Street last week one lucky winner will no longer have to step out of the house to snag a bottle of our glacial spring water. While doing some sampling at Whole Foods on Cambie Street in Vancouver last week our Whistler Water team offered a chance for one lucky customer to win a year’s supply of our water by entering into a draw. The response we received from Whole Foods customers was terrific. A big congratulations to Jasmine Chamberlain of Vancouver who was the lucky winner and she will receive her prize later this week. Keep your eyes out for our Whistler Water team at other retail locations in the future where you can enter to win a year of hydration for you and your family.

With the winter chill in the air, those who enjoy outdoor recreation generally aren’t as worried about losing fluids as they are in the warmer months. Dehydration is the number one performance inhibitor among athletes even when the temperatures plummet. So, if you are heading outside for your first workout of 2012 take quick read of this article from Shape Magazine and make sure you have a bottle of Whistler Water in your hand as both will help you stay ahead of the game.
Make a date this New Year to broaden your mind. If you haven’t already heard about TED Talks it is a great online site that allows you to easily learn new and exciting topics. TED video lectures bring together some of the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes or less. One that really caught our eye recently was given by Dr. Mike Biddle, founder of MPA Polymer Plastics, as he brought to our attention the huge scope of products that can be recycled. Check out this informative video and don’t forget to join the thousands who have signed Whistler Water’s Let The Bottle Live On Pledge in the past year.
